As a traditional, timber phinisi, the luxurious Tiger Blue expertly ferries divers between the most coveted of eastern Indonesia’s dive sites.
The Tiger Blue is a 34-meter yacht fitted for luxurious travel through eastern Indonesia. Construction on this gorgeous boat began in 2008 under the watchful eye of Sulawesi’s best boat builders. The yacht’s 2 masts, 7 sails and 7.6-meter beam ensure smooth sailing.
During your journey on the Tiger Blue, you'll have access to a large, indoor salon, a shaded dining deck with large sun beds, an outdoor lounge and a sundeck.
The Tiger Blue liveaboard is fitted with every possible diving amenity. Divers will enjoy access to a spacious dive deck for suiting up. All of your gear will be ready and waiting for you on the diving tender. Post-dive you’ll enjoy freshwater showers and fresh towels. There are also plenty of storage facilities for all of your gear and rinse bins for cleaning. As an added bonus, all dive gear is provided free of charge.
Up to four guided dives per day are offered. Night dives are a possibility on most evenings provided the ship is anchored in safe harbor.
Indonesia consists of 13,466 islands between Southeast Asia and Australia. With 25% of the world’s species of fish, and 15% of its coral, this beautiful country is a must for any passionate diver.
Indonesia has some of the most beautiful dive spots in the world, and it would be impossible to visit all of these locations during one trip – so you will certainly need to come back.
Diving in Komodo National Park is exciting and rewarding. The area is well known for its strong currents and is often recommended for divers with experience. It’s a fantastic place for shark spotting, but the macro life is abundant as well. Liveaboard diving over a period of 5 to 10 days is the best way to explore the many dive sites the park has to offer.
Being just below the Equator, the water temperatures in Indonesia remain low to mid 80s Fahrenheit (high 20s Celsius), with a visibility of 50-100 feet (15-30 meters).
